And fall short of perfection?
Will God restore you
To His blessed Election?

What if you cherish
Something God hates?
Could you live with yourself
Ignoring your mistakes?

What if God wearies
Of striving with you?
Will you survive
As the enemy pursues?

What if you’re tempted
And fail to repent?
Where will you be
When Jesus is sent?

What if the Saviour
Leaves you behind?
Because of your choice
To waste your time?

Was all the pleasure
Worth all the shame
That’s awaiting you
Who denied His name?

Think hard and long;
Consider it well;
What if you miss Heaven
And end up in Hell?
