Freedom from strife......
A state of being
That strengthens one’s life.

The absence of war
Stillness and quiet...
Within the mind’s door.

Reach out and grab it
With humility.
Determined to have
Tranquility.

Order your thoughts.
Commit each one
Unto the Lord
And unto His Son.

Follow peace
Follow it well
It must take root
For it to dwell.

When all around you
The world is a-stir.
Your will to be quiet
Will cause you to purrrrrrrr!

The love of God
Invests us with peace
And clashing emotions
Will fade and cease.

Let peace take charge
Day by day....
Cry unto your Lord
Each time you pray.

Your earnest desire
Coupled with faith
Gets God’s attention
And His embrace.

Follow peace with all men
And holiness..
Without either one...
You won’t have rest.

Peace.......peace....
Sublime but near,
Yield to its reign
It shall appear!
