Jesus - My Life
Jesus - My Life
Jesus went through despisement
So I could walk holy;
He was rejected of men
So I could pray boldly.
Scorned, looked down on
Despising the shame;
A man of sorrows
Who sought no fame.
In the volume of THE BOOK,
They wrote of Him;
The Messiah was revealed
To each one of them.
He came unto His own
Who esteemed him not;
To preach against sin
And every dark blot.
For my transgressions
Was my Lord stricken;
For my iniquities
Was He bruised and smitten.
Contradictions of sinners
He freely forgave;
For the joy set before Him
Mighty – to save!
Every infirmity
Grief and sorrow,
Is under The Blood
Today and tomorrow.
The grace of my Saviour
Sanctifies whole;
I’m conplete in Christ
Heart, mind and soul.
His Word is Life!
T’is undeniably true.
As I hear and obey
I’m blessesd through and through.
Victorious and Wonderful.
This Saviour divine!
He’s coming back!
But none know the time.
Church! Are you ready?
The hour draws nigh;
When the Lamb who was slain
Will appear in the sky.
Alpha and Omega -
The Beginning and the End!
Emmanuel! Emmanuel!
Oh haste to descend!
