What we need for this hour,
Is to feel the Arm of Power;
Reaching down from above
Is the Arm of His love.

What we need for this time
Is for God divine
To uphold our life,
Amidst hardship and strife.

What we need is His Arm
To protect us from harm,
To uplift the human mind,
From the pressures that bind.

We implore you Lord,
Many voices in accord.
Teach us how to prevail
And not shrink back and fail.

The Arm of Power
Is our help this very hour
There is strength -- there is might,
It’s available, day and night.

The Arm of Concern,
So tender and dear,
Can be felt by us all,
When we humbly draw near.

There’s support from His Arm,
Which removes all alarm;
It’s extended to the one,
Who invites Him to come.

BEHOLD!! The Lord knocks!!
--- at the mind, at the heart;
If we release our cares,
He will do His part.

Lean upon His Arm,
In this day -- in this hour;
And succumb to His will,
As yours lies still.
