The Unspeakable Gift
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
What is the unspeakable gift of God? Love begot the
Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus is God’s Gift to
mankind. He so loved you and me that He gave us His
only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him,
shall not perish but shall have eternal life.
God is a giving God. He gives liberally, and doesn’t
upbraid us. Receive ye the gift of salvation – if you
haven’t already! Receive ye the Lord, Jesus Christ!
Another unspeakable gift from God is everlasting life.
What a gift! To live forever in a body that is
incorruptible is a miracle! Death is swallowed up in
victory when you are born of God, through the
unspeakable gift of the Lord Jesus Christ! And that
immortal body awaits you – it is reserved in Heaven
for you! You cannot even utter the words of
thanksgiving for all that God has in store for you!
Are you not speechless?
Hallelujah!
Because Jesus lives, we can face today and tomorrow
without fear of death! We are the “Less, blessed of
the Better.” Hebrews 7:7 says: “And without all
contradiction, the less is blessed of the better.”
Our Lord became poor, that we might become rich! When
He said: Lo, I come to do Thy will O God. it is
written of me to do Thy will, O Father….., Jesus bowed
His head and committed His spirit unto the Father.
That’s when He became God’s unspeakable gift.
Oh, dearly beloved – bow your head and commune with
the Lord. Make a fresh commitment to yield your
spirit to the Father. Give yourself to Him – while
you have the mind and the time.
When Jesus bowed His head and yielded up the ghost,
who could say anything? The sun darkened, the temple
veil rent in two, the earth quaked and the rocks
split. The “Unspeakable Gift” of God finished what he
came to do, and no one uttered a sound.
He who knew no sin, became SIN, that the scriptures of
the prophets might be fulfilled. There was even
silence in Heaven!
The Lamb of God was slain, that you and I might die to
SIN, ourselves, and become children of God. We die
daily, believers, as we bear our own cross here in the
earth.
Oh, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon
us that we might be called the sons of God and be
killed all the day long – as sheep for the slaughter!
This Saviour is our mediator between God and men – He
is the man, Christ Jesus who gave himself a ransom for
us all. He is the Grace of God that brought salvation
to the earth.
This Unspeakable Gift is even now appearing to all
men, women and children – in dreams, visions and
through ministries. God doesn’t have to speak – His
Unspeakable Gift of Salvation, through His Son says it
all!
Praise God for that Blessed Gift – our Blessed Hope!
Grace be with you all. Amen!
