Secret of Power with God

St. Mark 1:35

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

To you, my dear sister and brother in Christ,

This “MESSAGE” was birthed out of an actual experience
which has been confronting my prayer partner and
myself. Hopefully, this will edify your soul.

As I write to you today, I pray that more grace will
come into your life, and that the peace of Jesus will
abound even more with you and your beloved ones as
well.

As Paul said, in Philippians 1:3-5: "I thank my God
upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer
of mine for you all making request with joy, for your
fellowship in the gospel."

Let me take this time to say you are loved and
appreciated. You are always in my thoughts, and that
is the Father's doing! It is marvelous in my eyes!
He inspires love within my soul, for you. Every
spoken and written word you have shared with me, down
through the years, weeks, and days, is precious.

You have no idea how inspiring your words are, my
friend. You deserve appreciation, and today, I'm
appreciating you!

My prayer partner and I have been experiencing “pricks
and thorns” when we arise to greet the Lord in the
dawn of the day.

Satan has been attempting to sabotage our desire to
pray. Then, if he couldn't keep us from early rising,
he would try to lead us back to sleep, while the other
one was praying.

As you already know, when any two of us agree on earth
as touching any thing that they ask, it is done for
them of the Father.

We have been fighting the temptation to "faint,"
during the early prayer hour, which has been in
operation for about six months or more. Thus far, God
has given us the victory, and the prayer has continued
on, in season and out of season.

This Word is for you and me, and for others who are
confronted with demonic opposition in morning prayers.

It's the Holy Ghost, who's leading us to pray . .
.What the Father starts, shall not cease because of
satanic challenges. How dare the devil think he can
bring down the Father's beloved children who are in
morning prayer, or any other prayer, through his evil
attacks on our minds, bodies and souls?

THE PRAYER

...Satan, we bind you in Jesus' name. We command
you to go, in Jesus' name. You have forged a weapon
against our sanctified minds, but in Jesus' name, it
shall not prosper. Hitherto, it has been a threat,
but it shall come no further! And it is so. . .
Amen!”

“…..Father, help us. We need to launch an attack
against the enemy. He is coming against the Body of
Christ. He doesn't want others to be delivered. He
doesn't want us to be fervent and effectual. He wants
men to fail, to die, to starve and to suffer. He
wants us to gripe, to groan, to weep and to moan.
Lord, we want our days to prosper. We arise early, as
Jesus did, so we will be empowered over all that comes
to challenge us, in a day's time. Lord - keep us!”

“…..Without you, we can't do anything! Without you,
we will fail. Help us, Father. In times like these,
it seems like the godly are failing, but satan is a
lie. We are your remnant, who desire to please you.
We shall not fail you, Father.”

“When we arise to pray from our solitary places,
nations are helped. People who were oppressed find
relief. When we pray, those who were depressed,
obsessed and possessed by powers of darkness, are
delivered, in Jesus' mighty name. “

“….Oh, Lord……when we cease to arise in the mornings,
we give satan back the power You gave to us. Each day
we give in, it becomes easier and easier to let go of
that mind to pray. Each time we let the flesh rule
and master our will, the enemy is encouraged to fight
the more.”

“Forgive us, Father. We need you. Help us withstand
the fiery darts of slothfulness, unwillingness and
laziness. Help us to be consistent. We need to be
steadfast and unmoveable. It's the mind that the
enemy wants. God, we determine that we will not give
in to flesh which wants a little more sleep, a little
more slumber, and a little more folding of the hands.

“….Our flesh fights us too, but we are yours, Lord.
We are not the instruments of satan. Our bodies are
your temple. We are not our own. Please strengthen
our minds with your Word. We are the "weak," who say
that "we are strong." In our weakness, Jesus, let
your strength be made perfect.”

“…Lord, we know this is only a test, and Jesus is
counting on us to fight the good fight of faith.
Faith stands, faith defies the devil, faith continues,
faith resists, and faith overcomes. Faith cleaves to
you. Faith arises each morning, no matter what.
Breathe on our minds, Father. Breathe more strength
into our wills, Lord. We need you, more, and more,
and more.”

“We are overcomers, by the word of God, and by our
resistance to the enemy. Lord, we cleave to you.
You've been standing by us, even when we failed you.
You never once condemned us, Father. You are so
loving and so kind. We will not let you down,
anymore. You need us to pray for those in other
lands. . . and people in this land need our prayers.
They need us to feel their pain and their sorrows, and
just to stand in the gap in fervent prayer with them.”

“Our civil rulers who are in authority need us to
beseech you in intercession, as they attempt to lead
the people. Let Truth not fail in the land, as we
present the leaders' and their policies before You,
Lord.”

“Lord, when you told us man ought always to pray, you
knew it would keep us from fainting and would give us
grit, gumption and guts. We need to develop
spiritual prayer muscles. We need victories to keep
us encouraged. We need you, Lord. We need Jesus.”

“We thank you for the struggle. We appreciate your
longsuffering with us. We thank you for the power to
tread over all the works of the enemy. Lord, you're
teaching us to watch, as well as pray. As we arise
each morning, we know that you are there to encourage
us in prayer too. Thank you, Father.”

“Your Word is in our hearts, and when we obey it, we
find ourselves calling your name in prayer. Let us
remember that men and women are healed in Jesus' name.
People are being saved because we are following the
example of Jesus in praying without ceasing.”

“We are being strengthened in our inner man, because
of our prayers. We are even growing in grace and in
the knowledge of the Saviour. Thanks be to the Holy
Ghost for helping our infirmities. You know we don't
know what to pray about, so you send Him to make
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered. All this happens in those blessed prayer
sessions with the Father!”

“Lord - no matter what, we shall stand in the gap and
build up the walls. We shall not allow satan to come
any further. You are our heavenly Father, and it's
you that has brought us safe thus far. You're our
Rock, our Fortress and our Deliverer! The righteous
run in and find refuge in you, Father.”

“Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! Praise the Lord!
Blessed be the name of the Lord! Amen!”
