A Love Letter From God
Read by Faith
The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life. (II Corinthians 3:6)
Let us receive the glorious ministration of righteousness which shall bless us to exceed in glory. II Corinthians 3:8,9
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech. II Corinthians 3:12
Today the Holy Spirit comes to remove the veil upon our minds and our hearts.
According to how we turn unto the Word, we shall be liberated and the veil shall be taken away. II Corinthians 3:14-18.
God said to tell you: Operate in the Spirit and in the Truth. That’s operating in the Holy Ghost. Yes, Lord. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God, and he leads and guides into all Truth. If we operate in the Spirit and in the Truth, we’ll be under the Holy Ghost’s supervision. We’ll be in His Camp. Hallelujah! That’s a safe place to be! When we operate in the Spirit, we stay there…we’re not in and out but we mind the things of the Spirit and the things of the flesh cannot hurt us.
They can’t impact us or attack us. They cannot leave their imprint in us, because we don’t live there in the Flesh Condominium—we live in the Spirit. And the Law of the Spirit takes over and the Flesh can’t rule. Thank you, Jesus, Hallelujah!
It’s the same with the Truth. When the Truth is our garment and we are living, walking and moving in the Truth, then the Truth is our Shield, our exceeding Great Reward. It takes up for us. It defends us.
Hallelujah! The Truth is Jesus! He’s the way, the Truth and the Life. The Truth is our High Priest. The Truth offers itself up—we don’t have to say a word. Truth speaks…Truth explains…Truth runs the enemy away and makes their threats like a shadow, a mere trace of reality. Truth lifts up a standard—a banner—and the floods of ungodliness become congealed so we can make our way of escape.
Hallelujah! Thank you God! Such hope you give us. Thank you for the Truth in which we can hide. My God! We can count on your Word! Hallelujah! It helps us, it defends. We can count on it when we obey it, to keep us and deliver us from the Evil One. Bless the Lord. God, I trust you. I trust the Word. I trust the Spirit of God. You are more than enough. You can get the job done. Hallelujah! Yes Lord!
You said to run to the Rock that is higher than me. What is higher than us? The Spirit of God. Run to the Spirit of God. His ways are higher . . . His thoughts are higher.
Run to the Truth. Run to the Word of God! The Word of God is higher than I am—seated on the Throne in Glory, on the right hand of Majesty. Hallelujah! Forever settled in the heavens is Truth!
I decree that this Word we’re receiving today will make us free. We shall know (and operate in) the Truth and it shall make us free. St. John 8:32.
I decree that each of us that hears recognizes and knows the Word and knows “the voice” that’s crying out, to be Christ, will be free this day. Because we know and are intimately acquainted with the Word of God and we recognize Him as Truth we shall be changed from glory to glory, from old to new, from faith to faith.
We are not recognizing any other authority but the authority that is in Jesus, and in His Word today.
Hallelujah! I receive liberty, God; the Spirit of Liberty in Christ Jesus, has set me free and I bless your name. Hallelujah!
The more we walk in the Spirit, the more accustomed to the Spirit we’ll become. Every second, every minute, every hour, our life takes on more of the Spirit, when we surrender it to Christ, and we grow accustomed to living in the Spirit, not with the flesh, not after a human carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life—Oh praise God.
Bring your flesh into subjection, to the power of an endless life, today. Oh that is none other than Jesus Christ, the Great High Priest. Oh Lord, thank you for rescuing us from carnal ordinances.
When we begin to walk in the Spirit on a more regular basis, we will put away the “childish,” human things. When we mind the things of the flesh, we speak fleshly and think fleshly and understand fleshly things. I Corinthians 18:11. But when we being to war in the Spirit we take off flesh, and human attitudes, ways and responses to situations.
Only the Holy Ghost knows these things and He leads and guides the spiritually minded to them. The carnal mind can’t comprehend the things of the Spirit—they seem like “dark sentences” to a person who walks in the flesh and minds the things of the flesh.
Only the Holy Spirit can minister unto us today. I bless you, Jesus.
We walk not by sight—that’s human but we walk by faith—that is the Spirit. Faith brings us into the Truth. So when we walk and live by faith, it gives us joy unspeakable and full of glory.
Hallelujah! It causes us to remember Your Word, promises and covenants to us, and Faith gives us joy.
Truth brings us joy. It causes us to relax, to let go of our grip. It gives us psalms, a merry heart, and songs of deliverance.
It release us from our rigorous schedules and routines we’ve outlined in detain for ourselves and it gives us some leeway. It gives us “breathing room.” It allows us time to be our true selves—the self Jesus knows. Truth introduces each of us in particular to that which is “lawful and expedient.”
Thank you Holy Ghost. It shows us how to redeem our time—buy back all our wasted moments.
Truth says, “Let me show you treasures . . . let me take you into that secret place . . . into the Vault, into the chambers . . . where the treasures lie . . .
Nor many get to go in that sacred place where you learn how to operate in the Spirit—Living in the world, we are—but yet moving and operating in Spirit and in Truth that is a secret that the Holy Ghost wants to disclose to you. No! Come and Learn! Are you weary, thirsty and longing for Truth? Come and buy!
Come to the Word—the Living Waters of Truth—and plunge in.
Isaiah 55:1-3
All who earnestly incline your ear, come and let your soul live in My Spirit, saith the Holy Ghost. We are members of a human race as human beings, but we are yet in the Spirit. Being one with the Father of all. One with the Lord Jesus Christ and being led by the Spirit of Truth—what unity! Let us endeavor to hold on to this divine treasure in the Spirit—in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:3-6
Out of the depths of our souls, we cry – “I want to go higher, take me higher . . . Oh Hallelujah.
Our souls are captive in the human realm. If the soul had wings, it would flee as a bird to a high mountain, but the law for the soul to leave the body can’t happen until we die.
So the soul is a prisoner, encased in the flesh. We keep it in bondage! We “let it out” awhile. Instead, we should rather imprison the human, carnal self, and give it restricted time for pleasure, recreation and such like.
We’ve got the spirit man in the “crib”—the baby pen—and the human self is going about “Scot-free.” We’ve got it backwards. The old man is on display and the new man is locked up in the “crib.” It’s caged up, on a leash, and it should be the other way around. Hallelujah! That’s why things are not working out!
We’re examining life with the human lens, instead of in the Spirit. We’re inspecting others using our human eye, instead of viewing them through the Eye of God—His Truth. We even view our own lives humanly too, instead of through the Word of God.
When is the last time we asked you, Father, “How do I look to you?” or “What is on your heart, Father?” “How do I appear to You?” “Where is my shortcoming?”
When our heart meditates on such things, we have been led to your Secret Place, unknowingly. You lead minds—not emotions. The Spirit talks with our spirit and leads us by our thoughts. The feelings and emotions follow along for the ride until they become “caught up” too.
Men are taking their darling wives on a romantic getaway. You are likewise saying to us, “Come away with me, my Beloved. I’m engaged to you. You are my Betrothed. I want to carry you away on a spiritual getaway. God says—I love you. “I look out for you. I never slumber or sleep.”
God said, “With loving kindness, I send the Holy Ghost to you, to teach you to prosper. I want you to be in health even as your soul prospers. I want you to be in excellent spirit. I wish above all things for your deep, deep desires to be fulfilled. I want to give you the answer you’ve sought for so long, but I need to see more spirit—less flesh. I need to see you moving in and speaking more Truth. I need to see You embracing the truth more. Hunt it down in the day and meditate on it at night. Make it your bosom friend, your comforter, your constant companion.”
Hallelujah!
Colossians 3:1, 2
Lord, You want our affections set there, on You. We set them, and we come back and get them and put them back on things we love and cherish.
We temporarily “set them there” as in a day’s fast, or even a week or a 40-day consecration. Then we come back and get our affections and our carnality returns “full blast.” We pack up our human ways, put them in a suitcase, and with a backward glance, we say: “I’ll be right back, Lord.” And we don’t come right back.
We come back when things go wrong. We come back when things get “off teach.”
Lord when will we ever learn how to let the Spirit maintain us? When will we ever learn how to let you order our steps? Justify us, Lord—you don’t justify flesh—you justify the spirit. No flesh can stand before you.
So today, our flesh is in condemnation, standing at the judgment bar, and the Judge is saying:
“Guilty!”
But Lo, there is Jesus—The Advocate, the Lamb of God. He is standing as our High Priest and is pleading our case, saying . . . . “Lord, I paid for them to be free. I gave my life. I suffered. I bled. I even died, that they would be free from guilty, shame, sin, and death. Lord, let me present the case.”
And the Holy Father turns to behold Jesus. He sees the nailprints in his hands. He turns and remembers His Son who went to Calvary for us and died. He recalls how His Right Arm of Power resurrected the Son.
Hallelujah. Thank you Lord! Thank You for our Redeemer, Our Keeper, Thank You for being our High Priest.
You said, “I’m Holy—I’ll be holy when you can’t be holy, so that the Father cannot punish you with death. I’ll be harmless when your sin is that of harming others with words, looks, and deeds and actions. I’ll stand and plead to the Father for you.” You must get in the Word of Truth, so the Truth will recognize you and defend. When you obey and return to the spirit, your case will have a hearing with the Judge of all the earth.
Jesus lived undefiled and separate from sinners, so we could come unto Him, come apart from self-induced labor and boredom, and learn of His Truth that makes men free. His Truth instructs us how to follow His steps and live undefiled in the midst of corruption, graft and cunning strategies.
His Truth compels us to come out from among heresies and seducing spirits of error so we can be sanctified and holy, fit vessels for the Master’s use.
His Truth admonishes us how to possess our vessels in sanctification and honor and not be led away with the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
Jesus says to the Father, “If I teach them your Word will you turn away your anger?” The Father will surely reply, “Yea, I will.”
Oh Jesus—I hear you saying . . . “Father, I offer myself. Put the blame that is on them, on Me. I offer myself in their stead.”
Father, you look at Jesus, and you say: “Well said . . . I accept your life for theirs . . . I forgive.”
Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me today.
I abhor myself and I ask You to forgive me. I abhor my sins . . . my shortcomings . . . I see me by the light You dwell in. I see me through the eyes of Truth. I see myself through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.
I see me through Your love that washed me in your own blood, Jesus.
Holy Ghost, wash me today. Thank you today. I receive your hand. Yes Lord!
The Word is power. It is effectual and it is fervent. It is passionate. It is a lover your soul. The Word of God will wrap Himself around us and wash us in His own pure blood.
Hallelujah! Oh the Word of God! IT will draw us out of darkness, into your marvelous light. It will pursue and overtake every demon spirit. The Spirit of the Lord will captivate every demonic power that obsesses, possesses, and oppresses us. IT speaks with power to cast demons down and out—it removes them, if we will it to be so—it removes them from the premises. For the Word has the only right to our lives. The only One who has a right to our life is Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ! Lord, I turn myself over to you afresh. I turn my will, my intellect, my thoughts, reasoning power, desires, emotions, feelings, over to you once more.
Hallelujah! Jesus, you pleaded my case before my God, so I trust you to plead every issue in my life, before my God. I don’t have to represent myself. You represent me well. Who else would die for me and arise to represent me in a holy court, stand before a holy awesome God, and plead the case of my sins, but You, Jesus?
Who sits high in the Heavens, ever living and interceding even now?
It is Jesus! Who do demons fear and tremble? It is Jesus!
Who will go my bond, but Jesus?
Who paid the reason, but Jesus?
Hallelujah Lord, Teach me how to love you more . . . how to walk this walk . . . live this holy life . . . in its fullness . . . that I might delight in and rejoice in all the things in the Spirit.
The Spirit has pleasures that we can live, move, and have our being in. Oh yes, He does! Thank You, Jesus! Life forevermore! Strength! Healing! Deliverance Power! Joy! Peace! Love forevermore!
These are the pleasures I shall walk in. These are the delights that my soul and spirit yearn to be bathed in…baptized in.
What a treasure awaits us! What wondrous joys await us!—before we have “gone” the last mile of the way! Before we go to Heaven to be with you!
There are allowable joys and pleasures forevermore in this life.
And Father, when we can truthfully declare we have forsaken all to follow You, then we will experience those joys—forevermore. Amen!
Thank you Jesus. Lord, keep this Word in our hearts. Keep it sealed in our memory and keep us joined unto the Lord; that we may continue to be ONE SPIRIT.
Thank you!
Given by the Holy Spirit—
L. Green
