God Is Thy God!
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen.
I will be exalted in the earth.
Ssshhhh. . . . .
Do you hear what I hear? Do you see what I see?
Ssshhh.. . .
It is the sound of majesty, draped in judgment, power
and holiness. It is a sound from above, unlike any in
this earth. It is the sound of Glory, announcing the
coming of the Father.
All who are still, quiet, tranquil and calm can hear
the blessed approach of His footsteps. All who are
sober in spirit and unmoved by the world's glitz and
glamour, can hear their Father.
All who are still, have at least one secret given to
them by the Father. He is whispering even as He
descends into the hearts of the ones who meditate on
the Word.
His Words bring comfort, rest and joy for you and I to
speak to the abused, the lonely and the forsaken. His
Words spread Power. That Power is sent to rescue, to
heal, to soothe, to protect and to rebuke fear with
authority. His Word is Power for the weary soul.
When you are still, He allows you to know Him, to be
better acquainted with His ways, and to be more
intimate with Him. He shuns riotous banquetings,
revellings and the like. He commandeth us to redeem
the time, for the night is far spent, and the Day of
His approaching is at hand. . .
For thus saith our high and lofty Father who inhabits
eternity: "My name is Holy and I come to dwell in the
life of anyone who is of a contrite and humble
spirit."
Unto the heathen, who are walking in unbelief and
ignorance, He says: "Ho! Come! Are you thirsty? I
am living water for your rejected and misunderstood
soul. Come to the waters and if you have no money,
come ye, buy and eat; yea, come buy wine and milk
without money and without price. (Isaiah 55:1)
The Holy, Majestic God observes those who spend money
for that which doesn't nourish their flesh. He sends
the Gospel to those who labor for that which doesn't
satisfy them.
Ssshhh. . .as you meditate and pray, whose face is
coming up before you, dear believer?
See how our heavenly Father seeks to exalt Himself in
the lives of those satan has blinded? Let the Word
take you into that secret place and show you who is
sowing much and not bringing in much; they're eating,
but they don't have enough; they are drinking but
they're not filled with drink; they clothe themselves,
but yet they are not warm; and they earn wages only to
put them into a bag with holes. (Haggai 1:6)
"What do I do, Lord?" you tearfully ask. .
Say thus to such a one: "God said to tell you: I am
God!"
God's ultimate purpose is for man to recognize Who God
is, that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek
Him. Show men how to find God. Share your testimony.
Let your light shine before others that they may find
out who God is, by your life walk.
Exalt God in your conversation. Exalt righteousness
in your day-to-day lifestyle.
Let God be your God and let Him rule your moments - be
they challenging or comforting, sad or lonely.
Let God be exalted in your trials. See no other
resource, but God.
God will draw souls who desire peace, love and joy,
unto Himself, through your devoted love toward them.
Did He not say: "I will be exalted among the heathen.
I will be exalted in the earth?"
Judge yourself, my sister, my brother, and see whether
you are being used as a lighthouse to beckon the lost
ships out of their fog. God is thy God!
