Faith Speaks
Romans 10:8
But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach.
God has given us faith – the power to believe in Him.
God equipped us with His Word, which records His
mighty acts. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by
the Word of God. “Now Faith” speaks – it doesn’t
whisper. It declares things – it doesn’t beg for
things. That which is in your mind is “NOW FAITH” and
it acts in the present – not in the past. Exercise
it, my friend. It’s your gift! Thank God for that
measure of faith given to you!
Have you not heard how God delivered the Hebrew boys
out of the fiery furnace? Did He not deliver Jonah
out of the whale’s belly? Have you not read how He
delivered Joseph from sibling jealousy, the pit and
the prison? He brought Daniel out of the lion’s den,
did He not?
Speak to your den, and expect Him to move by your
words of faith. You believe in God – believe also in
the Word of faith, that is in your heart. He gave you
the Truth, which is your sword. Fight to get out of
the whale’s belly, with that Word of Truth. Tell your
stormy banks of Jordan that you’re coming through –
and bind fear of the future. Take that stand of
faith!
Look not on the enemy of your circumstances, but look
unto Him – the Author and Finisher of your Faith.
There’s no struggle, no trouble, no debt, or no
problem too big for your faith. Your heavenly Father
is expecting you to open wide your mouth and to decree
things to happen to you. Faith speaks – it is alive!
He gave you power to change your circumstances – not
merely to adjust to them. The more you learn about His
ways and His thoughts in the Word, the more you begin
to expect Him to put your enemies to flight too. Tell
your “Red Sea” of afflictions, that you’re not going
to drown – you’re going to live, and declare the Word
of the Lord. He brought Israel through their sea –
and He’ll do the same for you. He is no respecter of
persons.
By Faith, Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, and
the moon bowed at the word of that faithful man of
God, as well. Elijah, a man of like passions as you
and I, prayed earnestly by faith, and it ceased to
rain for three and a half months. He prayed again,
and the heavens gave rain. Think not that those days
are over. God is looking for someone who knows their
God, and is willing to open their mouth, and speak by
faith!
Is there any sick in your home, on your job, on around
your neighborhood? Let yourself feel their
affliction, and see if God won’t move on your faith,
with His love! That prayer of faith you’ve been
praying in your closet, will avail much. Now is the
time for your lips to speak by faith. You shall see
the sick healed, the lost found and the saints
speaking with new tongues.
Don’t settle for less, and let your faith lie
stagnant. Do you want more? Then come before the
Lord, asking for more! You have not, because you ask
not! Complacency is a fiery dart, which is designed
to rob, kill and destroy your faith! Stir up that
faith, and speak things that are not, as though they
were. Your ram will suddenly appear out of that bush
– FOR YOU!
As you believe, so shall you receive. Some blessings
will pass you by, if you do not fight for them, with
powerful words of faith. Trust in the Word of the
Lord – not in your might and power - and He shall
bring to pass, those hidden desires in your heart.
Live in earnest expectation that the shield of faith
which is defending you, shall deflect every high
thought, every wicked scheme, and every fiery dart
being formed against you. You are just, and it’s by
your faith that you will live!
If faith would talk, it would say – “By faith, shall
you stand, and when you become weary, lean on me.” No
weakness, nor tears, nor mourning shall commend you to
the Father – only faith! He moves off of your
precious faith.
Beloved, be thou quickened in the spirit of your mind,
in the name of Jesus Christ, and go forth. Mix faith
with that Word you’ve already received, and see if the
quality of your life doesn’t change for the better!
It’s your life! Defend your rights, and activate that
most holy faith. Confront every challenge with pure,
sincere trust in Jesus.
Don’t think – “Things will be better…” – think this:
“Things are already better, for I love Him. He’s
working things out for me right now, because I am the
called – the one Jesus died for – and I live according
to His purpose.”
NOW FAITH is a mountain-mover! Water can’t drown it,
fire can’t burn it, and you can’t knock it with a hammer!
