Ascending Vapors
Jeremiah 10:13; Psalm 135:7; 148:8
When He uttereth His voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth. . out of His treasures . . . fulfilling His Word.
The Lord said to say unto you: "I cause the vapors to
ascend."
What a mighty God we serve!
Wisdom is speaking to you and me today. Wisdom was
with God in the beginning of His way, when He
established the clouds above by His perpetual decree.
The laws out of His mouth cause all things in this
natural universe to function continually.
The Bible says the Lord utters His voice, and vapors
ascend. Vapors are as mist, which often form clouds
that float or are suspended in the air.
The sun's heat vaporizes the water of the ocean, by
God's marvelous laws. Vapors soon arise; they don't
hang around. They form into drops of water, and pour
down rain according to the amount which ascends from
the ends of the earth. They distil upon man
abundantly.
Your prayers are as vapors. God is observing the
temperature of your circumstances. The Son of God is
there, with you, in the heat of your trials and
struggles. By the decree of His Word, He is
vaporizing your situation right now. Believe it!
Receive it!
Think like this: "It's only a vapor, which will soon
pass upward, and disappear. . it's only a mist, which
now is, and soon will be gone. . . My God knows this
is becoming too much for me to bear, and as the vapors
of this trial and my prayers intensify, God is
creating a way of escape that will manifest itself." "
Revelation 7:3-4 read: "And another angel came and
stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there
was given unto him much incense, that he should offer
it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden
altar which was before the throne. . and the smoke of
the incense, which came with the prayers of the
saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand."
As you pray and worship the Lord Jesus, the odours of
your words ascend up to heaven as in a cloud. Before
your heavenly Father are golden vials full of odours,
which are the prayers of saints. (Revelation 5:8)
Today, God wants you to know that after the heat of
the situation, comes the vapors of your prayers. It
is He who comes to dismiss depression, hysteria or any
other nervous disorders known as "vapors." The Word
comes to dismiss all things in your life which have no
substance and exist as empty fancies of your
imagination. These too are known as "vapors."
Once "vapors" were medically defined as "exhalations"
which were injurious to the health, originating from
the stomach. They referred to conditions supposedly
caused by the presence of such exhalations.
The sum of the matter is this: Let the vapors of
worship ascend and bring drops of abundant rain and
showers of blessings upon you this day. And may the
quick, powerful, sharp two-edged Sword of the Spirit
pierce those harmful vapors and divide them asunder
from your soul, spirit and body, in Jesus' name. . .
Let the vapors ascend, as just as the mist arose, in
the Garden of Eden, and may your whole earth be
watered abundantly.
